Inspired by the food photography in this beautiful post https://bartisserie.exposure.co/madeleines, I decided to make madeleines yesterday (without the right moulds, but I had my muffin pan).

I basically need an excuse to use my new lens since there’s barely any snow outside and I want to take bright and beautiful photos.

And the final product:

Taking a photo walk wherever I please. This time it was at the Humber Bay Shores park on Marine Parade Drive in Etobicoke.

I always love taking a walk here because it has the best view of the CN Tower (other than the Polson Pier of course, which I have yet to visit) and there’s tons of wildflowers (and tiny critters in the summer) for those perfect bokeh shots.

Wishing you a very happy new year!

This year, I hope to share tons of images of things that make me happy. Let me start with something that makes me very happy… snow!

I added a new lens to my gear - a Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L II! I cannot wait to use it for portraits and events (yes, I might start doing events!).

Yesterday, I went nuts with the new lens and took tons of photos of some of the most random things (yes, I made the smoothie just so I could take a photo of the fruits and the yummy goodness):

And I caught this absolutely gorgeous sunset on camera:

I finally decided to create a real portfolio website after my years of laziness using Tumblr to share my photography.
