Frequently Asked Questions

Where will the session take place?

It can be either your home, outdoors or studio of your choice. Studio rent fee or any necessary photo permits are not included in my packages and must be covered by you. I am happy to provide location suggestions if you need!

Do you have a studio?

Yes, I have my own studio in Oakville. It has a capacity for 5 people and is often set-up based on a theme (Valentine's, spring, fall, holidays, etc). Additional charges do apply to use my studio. Let's chat!

Where are you located? Do you travel?

I am based in Brampton and primarily serve the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). However, I love to explore new locations, and I'm more than happy to travel. Additional travel fees may apply for any location that is more than 30km away from Brampton. Let's chat!

What should I wear for the session?

Once your booking is confirmed, I will send you a preparation guide where you can find clothing advice for our session. I'm happy to provide personalized guidance and suggestions on clothing choices before the session. I also have multiple Pinterest boards for inspiration!

What's the best time for the session?

I love golden hour (the hour before sunset), but I will work with you to pick the best time that makes sense for your session. The best times are usually morning or evening when natural light is softer and we can avoid harsh shadows. I am a big fan of natural light (indoor or outdoors)!

Do I need to pay a deposit to book a session?

Yes, to secure your session, I request a non-refundable deposit of $100. This ensures that I reserve dedicated time for our session and guarantees my availability.

What if I want my extended family to join for the session?

My family photo session package starts at 4 family members. For each additional family member, there will be an extra cost of $25 per person. If your family exceeds 4 members, please let me know in advance so that we can accommodate the session accordingly.

Can my pet(s) join the session?

Yes! Your pet is an important part of your family and I welcome them. We just have to be mindful of any restrictions or additional permits required based on our location. Please let me know in advance, so we can plan accordingly and ensure everyone's safety and comfort.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule the session?

I understand that things might come up, and you might need to change or cancel our session. If you want to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel, please note that the deposit is non-refundable. 

What if there is bad weather on the day of the session?

Weather can be unpredictable any time of the year. If the weather conditions are not suitable for an outdoor session, we can reschedule for another date that works for both of us. I always encourage my clients to embrace the weather, as long as it's safe to do so! I personally love rain or snow.

What if I am running late for the session?

If you are late, you lose time from your session and it will not be extended. I often have multiple sessions in a day. I do not like rushing people or having to say no, so please be respectful of everyone's time so that we can have the perfect session together.

When will be the photos be available?

I send sneak peeks between 24-48 hours after the session. The whole gallery will be ready in about 3 weeks from the day of the session. 

How many photos do I receive?

I only share my best images. Not every picture turns out to my standards, but I will edit and send you the best collection of them. There are no limits on the number of photos you receive for 1 hour sessions (if I edit 300, you receive 300). This is different for mini sessions where photos are limited (you have the option to purchase the full gallery).

Do you share un-edited images?

No, I do not. A lot of time is put into shooting the images, and then even more time is spent editing them. It is part of my process and I will not share any un-edited images.

How long do I have to download my photos?

In order to maintain storage for my photo gallery services, galleries will expire 2 months after delivery. Please download and back up your photos on multiple devices as needed.
