Amarpreet Kaur is the Digital Marketing Manager (DigiMan for short) at the Research Innovation Commercialization (RIC) Centre where she is focused on managing online content and optimizing marketing automation and inbound lead generation to support tech-focused startups accelerate their business to market.
Amarpreet completed her Master of Biotechnology at the University of Toronto Mississauga in 2016, and her undergraduate in Bachelor of Science (specializing in Molecular Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Biomedical Communications) in 2014. She started working with startups at RIC Centre over a two years ago as the Marketing/Communications Officer and Operations Manager.
Amarpreet enjoys working with entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries, including life sciences and digital health technology. Amarpreet currently acts as a member of RIC Centre's Leadership Team to achieve collaboration, alignment and synergies of efforts across strategic partners, clients and teams in order to maximize RIC Centre's exposure.
Outside her time at RIC Centre, Amarpreet is a creative professional with freelance projects that dabble in the tech space, real estate, immigration, and much more.
Amarpreet has a strong passion for photography and pursues it professionally during her spare time. Amarpreet loves to explore her creative side through photography and graphic design. Her work has received numerous features (from the CN Tower, Lifetime Developments, OntarioTravel.net, U of T Magazine, and more). She has also been published in the Canadian Geographic magazine.
