This weekend I attended the Downtown Toronto Khalsa Day Parade, just like I do every year!
This year a little more special because I was representing RIC Centre, the wonderful place where I work. I handed out almost 500 bags in the matter of an hour, and people were so happy!
The crowd was amazing… and this was before the parade came in:
I love stalking people and what they’re eating:
It just makes me smile when I see so many people gathered together to celebrate Vaisakhi:
A day well spent!
Cheers,
Amar
I went on two amazing walks yesterday. One was around my neighbourhood, and another by the lake in Downtown TO. I was pondering away, so lost in my thoughts.
Sunlight galore:
The leaves hang on after a long winter:
And then I went downtown, and loved going on the Humber Bay Arch Bridge again!
Hope you have a lovely Sunday!
Cheers,
Amar
Today, my family went on a hike to Maple Town at the Mountsberg Conservation Area in Milton (part of the Halton Conservation Parks)! It was such a calming experience. I’ve been in the need of a hike for a while… A lot of things have happened and my brain just needed a breather.
Here we go… photo time!
Part of the walk was crossing a railroad. They warned us to listen and look before we crossed… Of course, I had other ideas in mind:
More fun along the walk:
And then… trees! I was so happy it snowed. It made everything that much better.
More more more… there were so many memories to be captured:
And the inevitable walk back to the car…
What a great day! Hope you had a lovely long weekend. Happy Easter!
Cheers,
Amar
I made pancakes today!
With strawberry syrup!
And I made pasta yesterday:
With a Krispy Kreme donut to make it all better!
That’s all for my food :)
Cheers,

I finally drove down to Polson Pier today… what a beautiful view!
Like I said for my UofT photos, I wish I could do this everyday.
